Marketing Communication Specialist, Akron Racers Women's National Fastpitch

Position Designation: Full-Time

Office Location: Akron, Ohio

Hours:  Mon-Fri 9-5 non-event days; varies on event days (40hr/wk. flexible)

The Akron Racers are seeking a marketing communications specialist to serve as a full-time member of the front office staff.

The following is the key elements of the new position:

·         Create, plan & administer team’s promotional campaign; oversee implementation of the campaign including budget & expenditures for all proposed promotional activities.

·         Create aggressive appearance & public relations plan to compliment event schedule/games including parades, player and mascot appearances.

·         Develop comprehensive, strategic approach to social/digital media marketing across all platforms.

·         Create, develop & execute a comprehensive 12-month internship program that supports educational pursuits in all areas of sports marketing, ticketing and operations.

·         Develop marketing materials including pocket schedules, programs, including the ability to create promotional videos for as a part of an overall external communications strategy.
