Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5 non-event days; varies on event days (40hr/wk. flexible)
Description:
As an Account Executive, you will be building relationships and bringing awareness of Women’s National Fastpitch to Northeast Ohio that produces new ticket sales opportunities. A minimum goal of 400 tickets per game (or 10,000 tickets for the season) will be required.
A successful executive will use prospecting, cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email and social media marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with local groups, organizations, businesses and individuals. As a member of our sales team, you will be given a great opportunity to utilize your strengths and creativity to bring aboard sales through new opportunities. The ability to work as a part of team is a must!
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate business revenue using all sales methods, including prospecting, cold calls, face to face appointments, networking, setting meetings, social media selling
• Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads
• Generate a minimum of 400 tickets/game (10,000 tickets for the season) in ticket sales through personal sales efforts.
• Be able to brainstorm and create your business strategy for non profits, businesses, organizations, and consumer sales
• Be able to use needs based questions to offer customization
• Have a passion for women’s national sports
• Strong communication skills to create appearances to educate public
• Use a full catalog of inventory items: Season, Flex, Groups, Picnic Plaza, Food and beverage added value, small sponsorships under guidance of Director, etc. Customize to fit the needs of the client
• Account Executive will be expected to bring in 10,000 tickets in sales for the season, minimum
• Comfortable in face-to-face selling and prospecting
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
• Record all activity and sales pipeline info in existing system
• Provide superior customer service to clients: existing season ticket holders, prospects, single game, group
• Offer and sell game experiences
• Be present at all home games to service your clients, establish new relationships and help manage game day duties
• Attend team, community and assist with sponsorship events for the purpose of making new connections
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales
Ideal Candidate:

• Committed to the success of sports, especially women’s sports
• Strong communication skills and excellent writing skills for emails, letters, etc.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Likes to be challenged
• Prior sports sales skills preferred
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays as schedule reflects
